Who We Are
Ann Seaberg
President
Ann joined QCCAN in February 2020. Mowgli, a Bernese Mountain Dog, assists Ann in her work as a Physical Therapist with Illinois’ Early Intervention program. Together they assist the birth to 3 year old population achieve foundational developmental motor skills. Ann and Mowgli also enjoy encouraging the other end of the age span. In her free time, Ann enjoys being active outdoors with her husband and friends doing anything that does not involve heights.
Ellen Champion
Vice President
Ellen joined QCCAN in April of 2021 with her Irish Doodle, Finn. She has since added a second therapy dog, Oscar - an Australian Labradoodle. Their favorite visits are in classrooms reading with kids. Ellen enjoys volunteering with QCCAN and sharing Oscar and Finn's love with everyone they meet. She is a Product Manager for Dozers at John Deere. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, biking, and traveling with her husband and both dogs for off-road adventures in their Jeep.
Traci Ellsworth
Treasurer
Traci joined QCCAN in April of 2019 with her Labrador Retriever, Ben. Their favorite visits are senior living facilities and local colleges. Traci enjoys volunteering with QCCAN and sharing Ben’s enthusiasm for life with others. She is Manager, Demand Planning for John Deere Construction & Forestry. In her free time, Traci enjoys running, traveling, reading and cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Amy Linn
Secretary
Amy joined QCCAN in June of 2023 with her rescue pitbull mix, Leia. In April, she added Luna, a German shepherd rescue to the team. Leia’s favorite visits are libraries, both at the youth and college level, where she can take naps and get lots of pets. Luna’s favorite visits are nursing homes. Amy loves volunteering for QCCAN and spreading love and kindness into the community. Amy is an instructional coach at Glenview Middle School, where she has been employed for 27 years. Leia is a facility dog there and loves seeing the kids and staff every day. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and working in the yard.
Ann O'Klock
Board Administrator
Ann began her involvement with QCCAN and her dog Sherman - an English Cream Golden Retriever in JUly of 2021. Ann also has another English Cream Golden Retriever - Dutchie. She became certified as her second therapy dog in June of 2024. You will see either Sherman or Dutchie while she is volunteering with QCCAN. Her dogs bring lots of joy, smiles and comfort to all they visit. All of her visits with QCCAN are so rewarding and her dogs love going on visits.
When Ann is not going on QCCAN visits she enjoys gardening, baking bread and traveling. Ann is a retired psychotherapist.
Korryn Baraks
Trainer
Korryn is our Head Trainer at Quad Cities Canine Assistance Network. Korryn has been involved in QCCAN since spring of 2023. She enjoys volunteering at therapy dog visits with her dog, Louis. Korryn’s goal is to provide owners with the opportunity to train their dogs to be the best citizens they can be. She does this through balanced dog training.
Ever since she was young, Korryn has had a passion for animals of all kinds. She grew up competing with her dogs and horses in 4-H and FFA. Korryn enjoys working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. Training dogs has come naturally for her as she has grown up with animals. Korryn enjoys helping owners create a bond with their dog that can not only help them succeed at home, but also in public and on therapy dog visits.
Korryn enjoys training dogs and competing with her dogs in AKC events including Rally, Obedience, and Dock Diving. She spends her free time going on adventures with her dogs, horses, or in the side-by-side.
